Today the news reports about many things that relate to our fast downward spiral in America. We have a President and a Attorney General, both who lie to the American people each day, both men refuse to uphold and honor our Constitution. This president is so dishonest, and equally so incompetent, and the AG, Eric Holder will not obey the law himself, let alone have the United States Justice Department take appropriate action as directed by the United States Congress in matters of Contempt of congress, because the IRS has been used as a tool to help re-elect Obama, and to cause harm to his political opponents. This is harmful and shameful and very dangerous and all of us should be demanding that the Justice Department allow a true lawful open investigation of all at the IRS WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AND SHOULD BE PROSECUTED AND JAILED.
The latest news about the Nevada cattle rancher, whose cattle cross over into open, wasteland to graze, doing the land good by the cattle’s natural use and the nutriments left behind. The U.S. Government owns a whopping 81% of land in Nevada alone, and of the 13 Western states the U.S. owns 93 %, which is incredible. In NEVADA, our U.S. Bureau of Land Management confiscated the ranchers cattle, threatened the owner of the cattle with deadly force, guns drawn, snipers, Tasers, attack dogs, and prison for his cattle being on the U.S. land. The sent 200 officers at untold expense, along with F.B.I. agents, cars, jeeps, trucks, helicopters, and knowing this U.S. Government I would not be surprised to learn they likely had armored vehicles at the ready in close proximity. WHY, they as always have a pre-text, to save a tortoise of some sort. The same Tortoise that in 1991 the same bastards in our Federal Government wanted to exterminate.
This is our Federal Government, and it has always had periods, where various corrupt administrations get into power, and when they do, they want to control things and to control people. This is all part of the corrupt seed of man since Cain and Abel. Lincoln and his administration were the same type of corrupt men in 1860. They knew all about America at that time, they were in and out of the squabbles, North versus South and the philosophical and cultural differences in the two regions of America. As America grew after the Revolutionary War for Independence from England, the South grew as a agricultural power, Cotton, Tobacco, Lumber, and other crops were valuable and important items in the American economy. The export of Tobacco alone made America a major economic force, from the Colonial days in Jamestown. England and all of Europe could not get enough of this valuable money crop. All the Tobacco and later Cotton that was grown, had a buyer, and in the North, factories that converted Cotton into clothing and other uses were industrialized and used Cotton from the South in their factories, as well as Tobacco was converted into chewing, smoking, pipe, cigar, and cigarette products..
Just like todays news about the Nevada cattle rancher, whom is being threatened along with his family and neighbors with physical harm, and imprisonment by our Federal Government, for allowing his cattle to graze on some of the millions of bare non productive lands across Nevada and the Western United States, the Federal government has been overreaching in many, many ways, including the times in 1860. One way they overreached in an unfair and unconstitutional manner was with the imposed taxation and tariff fee’s the Federal government placed on various Southern Import-Export goods. In addition to this, and as the North and South both had used slaves in various manners, at home, and on the farm, slavery, was as it has been for thousands of years, has had it’s detractors. And as civilization modernized, you had the agitators in the newspapers, the politicians, and others stirring up the days hot topics just as they still do today. Of course their were the other forces for support of slavery and for opposition to slavery. The North slowly needed and used less and less slave labor, and the two primary reasons for this were due to advances in technology and the very economics of the practice. As others have written in many documents and books, to own a slave generally meant to own the entire family, Mother, Father, Sons, Daughters, all of them forever. This required lodging, food, clothes as well. Their productivity became very inefficient in comparison to the work one could expect from a hired man for a days wage for a days labor. The hired man would work all day, and at the end of the day go home. No lodging was required, no food, no clothes, but keep in mind, this was more of a practice in the city where people lived within a reasonable distance to travel to work. In the South, a large plantations and farms of several thousand acres, slavery was the only answer to them at that time, this was before the steam engine and industrialization required that would have been needed in order to be at all manageable and profitable.
Now, I am trying to look at this through 2014 eyes, not 1860 eyes, as slavery in 1861 was a tradition and practice as normal as wearing clothes rather than walking around naked, it was the norm and had been before any living human whom existed at that time, it was not some new practice. Slaves in the South were family. Generations had been born, lived, played, many times worshiped and died on the same farm. It is important to note this, and to note that when you look at the photos of some slaves with scars across their backs, this was not the norm. Harming and injuring your workers had negative effect, and this was just not the way things were in mainstream farms and plantation life. Now I also want to say, in 2014, my norm is to be opposed to slavery, and I am sure you feel the same way. But we were born in a time that this was not the norm, but it was the norm in many parts of 1860 America.
But even in 1860 this was changing, and it would in all likely hood have ended by slow death on it’s own, just by the economics and the Technology changes alone, it was a forgone conclusion, the handwriting was on the wall when steam began being used. The cultivators, planters, discs, multiple plows and other implements were being invented and manufactured, But before this happened an election was on, and yes many before 1860 and since barked and complained about slavery among many other things. In the South the big word was Federal Republican Control. Many politicians and citizens in the South did not like the manner that the Federal Government was treating Southern states, and the most important item in these issues was the tax or Tariff on their goods. It was wrong, it was unfair and on top of that, the newspapers and others were talking about higher tariffs, and a new president with more controls likely to soon come into office.
Now, I am not interested in trying to write about a very large complex situation, with hundreds of additional issues, and thousands of different positions and proposals, ect. ect. I am interested in getting to the most important point, the cause for Lincolns attack on the South. Here it is, when the Southern states began declaring a will, a desire to secede, to form a separate new government of their own, and then when they actually began doing so in South Carolina, Lincolns cabinet and his supporters went ballistic, and saw a major devastation of the economy with the loss of the South, and remember some mid western states and Northern states also hinted at seceding with the Southern states.
Now, you may have been born on another planet, but if you were born on this planet, especially in the North or West, and especially after 1960 or so, you have been bombarded with books, speeches, television, movies, magazines, and most importantly, school teachers and so called historians who have told you the war was over SLAVERY. AND THIS IS A LIE.
Abraham Lincoln , did not like blacks, did you know this, and he wanted them gone from our American soil. He wanted them some way exported back to Africa, and I agree with he desires, as I think he was correct in his thinking, as the Black man in general is a troublemaker, and has harmed the cultures of every nation they have existed in. Progress in any black land is at a standstill, disease is higher, culture is shameful, unwed motherhood, fatherless children, and crime is much higher than in non black nations, and those that have very few black citizens. Ask the Pope, as God, use facts, not opinions, and you will see this is true, and Lincoln was correct in his observation then, just as Thomas Jefferson and others had observed and so stated many years prior to Lincoln. I wish this was not true, but it is.
But, back to our issue, Lincoln while he was not a lover of the blacks in America, did not like slavery, this also appears to be true, and I also like Lincoln would be opposed to slavery, but do not confuse this with Lincoln having a desire to start a war to free them. NO, he stated in more than one speech, to many, many people, that under no circumstances would he use force to undo or to free slaves, and would not consider any war or other such action to end slavery. His only suggestion was in wishing that their was a economic feasible way to send them back to Africa. Now, mad or glad, these are again truthful, factual statements about me and about Lincoln, and I do not mean to seem to compare myself with anyone let alone a president, but he would not likely apologize for his words, and I will not apologize for mine, as they are simply statements of fact.
Lincoln was advised to do whatever he needed to do to stop the secession movement, and the dishonest move Major Anderson made after promising to General Buregard that he would not do such, moved by the cover of darkness from shore based Fort Moultrie across the channel into Fort Sumter. He was removed from the fort by force without anyone being killed. Lincoln could have prevented this action, but he wanted a pretext to take Federal action to stop South Carolina from leaving the Union, and to send a message to other states not to secede, and soon, he had his war, a war to stop the states from leaving the Union, and to stop the economic losses that would happen as a result of loosing the various states from the Union, but, if you did not yet get it, his war, the war, Civil War, War Between The States, The War To Stop Southern Independence, whatever name you desire to call it, was over the economics of it all, and you can decide how you feel about that, but be clear, it was not a war to free the slaves. It was not a racial issue, it was not over bigotry, it was a war over dollars, money, jobs, the fat cats of 1860 would not stand for the financial loss that would likely have if the South left. Study the real facts, not the lies and myths, but look into what Lincoln stated, look at the situation from Charleston and how Lincoln refused to discuss Fort Sumter with the envoys that were sent to Washington from Charleston, SC. and Lincoln refused to meet with them and forbade his administration to meet with them. ??
